If you were in the area of Burleigh Road at around 2.25am and have any information, CCTV or dashcam footage which could be helpful to the enquiries, please do get in touch with the police.
Our campus is one of the safest in the country but, as in any other community, incidents do very occasionally occur.
Please be aware of your personal safety at all times as you walk around campus and the town, particularly after dark. Avoid walking by yourself – always try to walk in a small group – and stick to well-lit paths and areas. Or you could use a registered taxi.
Further advice on personal safety is available online.
