Loughborough University named in the top three on student review website
Student Hut has announced that Loughborough University has been named the third best university in the country, based on over 40,000 student reviews from 2018.
The website also lists Loughborough as having the best Halls of Residence – with Falkner Eggington named number one – and a Top 10 university for Freshers’ Week.
Over 500 Loughborough students have rated aspects such as courses, nightlife and the facilities available.
One student recently wrote the following:
“The campus has large amounts of green space, including various sports pitches and recreational spaces which means it very much feels like a campus uni. The uni offers not only the library, but various places to study which means during busy exam periods you can always find a place to work.”
Another commented:
“Academic staff are so supportive if you approach them with any of your problems and personal tutors are always on hand to help with any academic issues. The careers service is really helpful and offers schemes such as the Employability Award and LboroConnect to help you with that first step out of university life. The union will help solve any issues and student voice will help you resolve everything from academic misconduct to where is the best place to have a drink.”
Student Hut is a platform for students to review their universities and also provides student offers and advice.
