Book your place for this year’s Learning and Teaching Conference
The 2019 Learning and Teaching Conference will take place this Wednesday (3 July) in the West Park Teaching Hub.
The all-day event will feature masterclasses, opportunities to network and various sessions from other academics at the University, with a focus on ‘How to…’.
This includes practical tips to improve your teaching practice, understanding how students learn, assessment best practice and how to use digital technology to enhance student engagement.
In addition, the winners of the Teaching Innovation Awards and the Research Informed Teaching Awards will be announced.
Pro Vice-Chancellor of Teaching, Professor Rachel Thomson will open the day at 10am, and academics from across the different Schools will share methods that have worked well for them.
The conference is free to attend and those who are interested can register online via the website and view a full programme of the day.
