Tickets available from 10am for Q&A with Maisie Williams
Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) and the Careers Network are pleased to welcome Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) to Loughborough University on Thursday 31 January.
Tickets will be available online at www.lsu.co.uk/refreshers from 10am today (21 January) so don’t miss out!
Maisie is both an inspirational actress and a digital entrepreneur. She has her own creative industry platform daisie.com – launched in August 2018 with co-founder Dom Santry - as well as managing her social media profiles and career to date.
Daisie.com has been designed to support the needs of young creatives who find they are without networks to support their ambitions.
Students who are interested in developing their creative career – be it social media or the performing arts – are strongly encouraged to attend this event.
She will be visiting the University to answer your questions in a session hosted by LSU’s Employability and Entrepreneurship Executive Officer, Josh Hope, which will take place in Room 1 at the Union from 5:30pm.
If for any reason students are unable to attend, the event will be filmed and available to watch on the Personal Best app.
Personal Best is a new, bespoke development programme that has been specifically designed for Loughborough University students.
The initiative offers the opportunity for students to reflect on their skills and abilities, set goals for themselves and work towards these through a range of activities and resources.
The programme covers academic, professional and personal development, such as study and workplace skills as well as mental and physical wellbeing. Find out more on the dedicated webpages.
