The Community Wardens team are delighted to announce that Laura Dale has been appointed as a Sub-Warden.

Laura has worked at the University for almost six years, with three years working in the Centre for Child and Family Research and the last three years based in the Research and Enterprise Office.

She currently works as a Senior Support Administrator, spending much of her time working with the Institute of Advanced Studies and supporting their theme launches and events.

In addition, Laura supports the Research Development Managers with any large events they are holding and also assists the Research Committee.

As sub-warden, Laura will be acting as a link between the University and the local community to maintain a positive relationship. She also hopes to build on her Mental Health First Aider training and provide welfare support when required.

Speaking about her appointment, Laura said: “I am really proud to represent Loughborough University out in the local community and ensure that the relationships between the students and local residents remains positive.”

The Community Warden, her deputy and sub-wardens are available to help and support students living off-campus in the Loughborough area. From issues with neighbours, landlords, housing and welfare, the team are available to offer a full pastoral service to any student.
