Staff and students: music tuition at the University now available
Music lessons will be available to staff members as well as students for the first time this year.
Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced musician, lessons can be tailored for a range of instruments and singers.
Music tuition is available for singing, piano, violin, viola, guitar, brass, clarinet, saxophone and flute.
There will be a ‘meet the tutors’ week, where those who are interested in music tuition can have an informal chat before deciding whether to book. It is strongly recommended that those who are interested attend the relevant session before booking. The dates are:

The cost of tuition is £200 for students and £240 for staff. These prices are based on musicians receiving eight hours of tuition per semester. Lessons will take place in the music practice rooms, which are located in the Martin Hall Building and the rear of the Cope Auditorium (Edward Barnsley Building).
Those who have received music tuition previously at the University are advised to email directly LUarts@lboro.ac.uk before Monday 8 October.
