Students invited to take part in mealtime research

Researchers at the University are keen to hear from current students about their experiences of mealtimes within their student accommodation as part of a research project.

Conducted by Dr Hannah White and Dr Emma Haycraft, based with the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, the project aims to help the University understand more about how students feel in relation to mealtimes within their accommodation – both on campus and in the community.

The research will be exploring aspects such as how often students eat with other students; how they feel during mealtimes; and the use of mobile phones during mealtimes.

Taking part in the project simply consists of filling in an online questionnaire, and all completed responses will entered into a prize draw to receive one of six £25 Amazon vouchers.

The questionnaire can be accessed here. The findings of the project will be shared with the University’s Student Experience Team with a view to develop recommendations to improve mealtime experiences for students at Loughborough. Please note all answers will be anonymous.
