Remembrance Day service

The annual University Remembrance Day service will be held this year on Friday (9 November) at 10:45 am in the Garden of Remembrance.

This service marks a time for remembering all those who have died in armed conflict, as well as those students and staff who have plaques.

We will remember students of the former College killed in action during WW2 whose only memorial is a plaque in the garden, as well as those lost in subsequent conflicts.

We will share moments of quietness and reflection with the families of those named in the garden, many of whom attend the service every year.  All those who have plaques dedicated to their memory will be named by the Chaplains.

Refreshments will be served after the service in the Centre for Faith and Spirituality, 1st floor, in the Edward Herbert Building.

Please note if the weather is poor, the service will take place in the Chapel instead.
