Help raise money for a great cause tonight at Loughborough Students’ Union

Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) will be hosting a ‘Loughborough’s Got Talent’ event tonight to raise money for Barts Cancer Institute.

Organised by the Welfare and Diversity branch of LSU, you can expect to see a variety of performances from singers, dance groups and poets in a bid to raise money for the cause. There will also be a raffle taking place.

The event has been organised to raise money for Barts Cancer Institute after it treated the mother of student Chris McLeod, co-Vice Chair of Welfare and Diversity, earlier this year.

His fellow co-Vice Chair, Matt Youngs, has also been fundraising for the cause in the build-up to the event, by pledging to shave all his hair off tonight as part of the event. You can support Matt by donating here.

The event will be running from 7pm-9pm and will take place in Room 1 in the Students’ Union Building.
