European mathematical conference to be held at Loughborough University
The 38th Dynamic Days Europe conference will be held at Loughborough University this year.
Taking place from 3–7 September, the conference is a European forum for the development of applications and theories of nonlinear dynamics. It brings together European and international researchers from a wide range of mathematical backgrounds for interdisciplinary research in nonlinear science.
One of the key research themes for Loughborough’s Department of Mathematical Sciences is dynamics, and it’s Centre for Nonlinear Mathematics and Applications is recognised as one of the UK’s leading research centres in integrable and dynamical systems, making it the perfect venue for this year’s conference.
So far, the event has attracted over 340 participants and nine world-leading experts, including Martin Hairer who is the recipient of a Fields Medal, which is one of the most prestigious international awards given in mathematics.
In addition, there will be 21 mini-symposia with multiple sessions. There will also be a room for contributed talks and for poster presentations at the conference.
A full programme for the conference can be viewed here.
Registration fees are as follows:
General - £250
Student (non-Loughborough) - £210
