Phishing emails

There have been a handful of reports of staff receiving phishing emails over the Christmas break.

Phishing is the term applied to email scams that attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, bank account details and credit card numbers.

If you believe you have received such an email, please do not click on any links.

If you do click on the link and enter your details, please contact IT Services who will be able to advise you on what you should do and can help you reset your University password.

Further information on phishing is available on the IT Services website.
