Student attendance monitoring– are you ready to go digital?

From Monday 19 February the University will switch systems for attendance monitoring.

Attendance for all taught students will be recorded using MyLboro, the new University digital app.

Using the personalised timetables already available through the App, students will be able to confirm attendance electronically using Bluetooth Beacons installed in all teaching rooms.

Recording attendance in this way has a number of advantages. It makes it easier for you to have your attendance recorded accurately; it reduces the workload for academic and professional services staff running the system and provides improved student support for those who need it.  It also allows the University to fulfil its attendance monitoring obligations.

Be ready for the switch: download the app now
