Invitation to attend Change Academy 2019

The annual Change Academy gives Loughborough staff the opportunity to share knowledge about managing change, gain and develop skills, and receive support in reviewing the processes in which they are involved.

Change Academy 2019 will run between 29 January - 15 February, providing a wide range of professional development opportunities looking at the importance of change for the University, its areas of work and for individuals. There are opportunities to develop your technical and personal skills and gain insight into current Change team projects.

A range of engaging sessions are planned, including a launch on Tuesday 29 January where staff can hear from senior colleagues including the Vice-Chancellor who will be discussing the need for change within the context of higher education. Richard Taylor, Chief Operating Officer, will deliver the keynote, sharing his views on how improving processes is part of everyone's job.

There will be practical training sessions on Visio, Excel and the University's process review method, as well as skills development training on mental toughness and dealing with difficult people.

Further details on sessions and how to book can be found here.
