Take a break and visit the bluebells in the woods

On Wednesday 2 May staff and students are invited to join campus arborists on a bluebell walk in Burleigh Wood.

The ancient woodland was once part of the old Burleigh Estate and was first mentioned in documents that date as far back as the 15th century.

The guided walk is a great opportunity to explore parts of the campus you might not have visited yet and witness the amazing display of bluebells that bloom every year.

The walk will start at 12pm at the top of the Holywell Car Park (near pitches 6 and 7). The nearest bus stop is at Holywell; from there it is approximately a five minute walk to the meeting point.
