As a student telephone fundraiser, you will be an important part of the University’s Philanthropy team in raising funds for scholarships, life-changing research and new opportunities & resources that contribute to making student life at Loughborough a great experience.
The role also offers a great opportunity to talk to many Loughborough alumni and to hear about their career paths and experiences since graduation.
Being a student telephone fundraiser can prove to be the start of an exciting career – former calling team members have gone on to careers with leading employers. Some have used their calling team experience to develop careers in the non-for-profit sector.
You will receive full professional fundraising training from Rux-Burton Associates who are working with the University to deliver this year’s programme along with support, advice and information about the areas we are fundraising for, from the University’s Philanthropy team.
Loughborough University has charitable status. Every year we raise thousands of pounds from a wide range of people and organisations to ensure that Loughborough University remains accessible to everyone who deserves it. Donations also support globally recognised research areas such as Dementia and Arthritis.
You will need to be able to attend training days on Sat 10 Feb and Sunday 11 Feb 2018, and be able to work shifts on campus from 12 Feb – 8 March 2018 on evenings and weekends.
