Acoustic Night series begins at Loughborough Students’ Union

LU Arts launch their Acoustic Night series this month, beginning on 20 November.

Acoustic Nights are a series of events held in conjunction with Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) that showcase some of the most talented Loughborough students.

The performances will take place in Cognito’s inside the Students’ Union, providing an informal setting to relax and enjoy both original and covered songs from some of the best musicians on campus.

Acoustic Nights has been running for two years, established to support student singer-songwriters and provide opportunities for musicians to perform.

LU Arts co-ordinator and organiser of the series, Steve Malik said: “The Acoustic Nights provide a special opportunity for student musicians to practise their craft in front of a real, live audience.

“With a supportive crowd and some good music, there’s nowhere better to be on a Monday night in Loughborough.”

The event starts at 7:30pm and is free for students and £4 on the door for non-students. For more information, visit the LU Arts website.
