Events on campus today
A buzzing atmosphere is expected on campus today (Wednesday 8 March) with the BUCS Conference Cup taking place alongside departmental visit days and interviews.
Around 400 students are anticipated for the School of sport, Exercise and Health Sciences and English and Publishing visit days. The prospective students, who have been given an offer to study at Loughborough from this September, will have departmental talks. They will also have the opportunity to take part in tours of campus, visit LSU and student accommodation.
Up to 1000 competitors and spectators are expected to attend the BUCS Conference Cup event. Fixtures will be taking place across 27 sports. The event is designed to encourage students to watch sport and support those taking part in tier 2 BUCS competitions.
Specific parking arrangements have been necessary to accommodate the extra visitors to campus. Parking is being provided at Brockington and Holywell and a one-way system will be in operation around Towers Way for the afternoon.
