Textiles student has design shortlisted in national competition

Final year textiles student Louisa Taylor is in the running to win this year’s ‘Design a Tea Caddy’ competition run by the Whittard of Chelsea.

Louisa entered the annual competition to get her personalised design featured on a tea caddy. Her design has now been shortlisted out of hundreds of entries to win.

The theme for this year’s competition is “A Very Autumnal Halloween” in line with the Whittard of Chelsea’s Toffee Apple fruit infusion flavour and their limited edition Pumpkin Spice tea.

Louisa’s design, which is for the Pumpkin Spice tea caddy, is inspired by the idea of superstitions and features a single crow and black cat.

Winners of the competition will be chosen by the number of likes they receive on Facebook. The winning designs will featured in stores across the country and in stores.
