Studio start-up needs your vote

Loughborough Design School graduate, Dr Rose Deakin needs your vote to help new venture, The Crop Club, reach the semi-finals of the NACUE Varsity Pitch.

The Crop Club, born in Loughborough’s incubation hub, aims to reconnect communities through the joy of growing food.

Using upcycled ethical, renewable, recycled and recyclable products, The Crop Club provides sustainable gardening packs to allow adults and children to grow their own food in small spaces.

The NACUE Varsity competition is the UK’s biggest business competition for students and graduates.

Applicants can enter two of six categories by submitting a 60 second video pitch. The winners from each category will have the opportunity to present their ideas live at the competition’s semi-final. The overall winner will take home £10,000 towards their venture.
