LU Arts and Flix present dark and comic tale courtesy of NT Live

Bought to you by the National Theatre Live, the Threepenny Opera is a dark comedy that tells the tale of thievery, prostitution and corruption.

A new take on Brect and Weill’s raucous musical, Mack the Knife is back in town, the production features Olivier Award-winner Rory Kinnear as Macheath, Rosalie Craif as Polly Peachum and, Haydn Gwynne as Mrs Peachum.

Adapted by Simon Stephens and directed by Rufus Norris, the Threepenny Opera will be screened on Thursday 22September at 7pm.

The screening will take place in the Cope Auditorium, Edward Barnsley building.
