Loughborough's postgraduates showcase designs in end-of-year show

Postgraduate students from Loughborough University’s 2D and 3D Visualisation and Art and Design (Studio Practice) Masters (MA) courses are set to exhibit their work in an end- of-year showcase later this month.

The Postgraduate Arts Degree Show 2016, taking place 22 - 24 September, offers potential employers, friends, family, industry and members of the public the opportunity to view the students’ projects and speak to them about their creations.

The work on display will include traditional and contemporary media which experiment with materials, processes and techniques. Both courses also have a strong emphasis on developing the entrepreneurial skills needed to pursue a career in the creative industries.

The show provides an opportunity for final-year students to showcase their skill, vision and ingenuity which are enhanced by the level of sophistication that results from exploring a discipline in greater depth.

Held in the Fine Art Building at the University, the showcase will open with a Private View on 21 September, 5-7pm, and to the public from  22-24 September, 10am-5pm.

To attend the Private View, please RSVP to artsdegreeshow@lboro.ac.uk by Monday 19 September.
