Your Education Week 2016

Students can get help to find their preferred learning style as part of Your Education Week 2016 this week.

As part of the week’s events, there are a number of different activities and conferences across campus for students to get involved in.

An Academic Summit is taking place tomorrow where University volunteers will have an opportunity to listen to updates from Loughborough Students’ Union Education Executive Officer Lewis Wood. Lewis will share details of the progress made so far in 2016/17 and list his ten education priorities.

On Thursday, a conference for the University’s postgraduate community will take place. The conference will include a series of talks from different speakers who will discuss postgraduate degrees and future careers.

Also part of the conference is a question and answer panel session where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to members of the Academic leadership team and Union Executive team.

The purpose of Your Education week, which is running until Friday 2 December,  is to provide students with the tools they need to study smarter and more specifically find out which learning styles suit their personality. Education volunteers and Student Voice staff will be on hand to help students throughout the course of the week.
