Student to debut artwork at Game of Thrones exhibition

Second year student Phoebe-Rose Logan has won a competition to debut her artwork at a Game of Thrones (GoT) pop up art gallery in Shoreditch.

Phoebe, who is studying Graphic Communication and Illustration, is one of ten winners, whose art work was chosen by Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) to feature in the exhibition.

Her winning entry is a painting of GoT protagonist Arya Stark. The pop-up gallery will also feature items from people who work on the show. Attendees will have the chance to see work by GoT storyboard artist William Simpson and sketches by the show’s costume designer Michele Clapton.

Phoebe commented: “I chose to paint Arya Stark as I admire her strong, independent female character. I was really excited about the exhibition, I have been a massive fan of the show since it began so to find out I got in was so overwhelming!”

The exhibition is open from Thursday 10 November – Sunday 13 November at 135 Bethnal Green, London. For more information, please click here
