Staff members invited to one day workshop on renewable energy

Staff members are invited to attend a workshop next week to mark the end of research project 'PV2025' focused on renewable energies.

The workshop in London which is being organised by the University’s Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST) and Imperial College London, will present results from world leading scientists achieved in the project entitled ‘Potential Costs and Benefits of Photovoltaics for UK – Infrastructure and Society’.

As part of the one day workshop, attendees will be given an insight into Solar photovoltaics (PV) technology in the UK and its impact as a mainstream energy source. The workshop will be of particular interest to stakeholders involved in installing photovoltaics, infrastructure operators and system developers. 

A number of panel discussions led by industry partners will also take place.

The workshop is running on Wednesday 30 November at 10:30am in the IMechE Building, 1 Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London. Lunch and refreshments will be included.
