Centre for Research in Communication and Culture to host book launch

The Centre for Research in Communication and Culture are hosting an event to celebrate the launch of four new books by Loughborough sociologists.

The books include:

Professor Daniel Chernilo, Debating Humanity: Towards a Philosophical Sociology, (Cambridge University Press, 2017) 

Dr Dave Elder-Vass, Profit and Gift in the Digital Economy, (Cambridge University Press, 2016)

Dr Line Nyhagen & Professor Beatrice Halsaa, Religion, Gender and Citizenship: Women of Faith, Gender Equality and Feminism, (Palgrave MacMillan, 2016)

Dr Nikos Sotirakopoulos, The Rise of Lifestyle Activism: from New Left to Occupy, (Palgrave MacMillan, 2016)

The launch is running on 30 November from 3 -5 pm in the Brockington Building (U.OO5). Academics will discuss each other’s works and also run a short Q&A and discussion session.
