University events set to inspire students

Loughborough University is running a series of ‘Inspiring Minds’ events to give Year 12 students a taster into University life and a range of different degree subjects.

Prospective students will have the chance to come onto campus to complete a day of exciting activities and workshops.

To kickstart the sessions, this month, the University is running an Inspiring Minds event in Arts, English and Drama which will be Shakespeare themed to commemorate 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare.

Over the course of the day, students will take part in a range of sessions within their chosen subject discipline including Drama, English Literature, Fine Art, Graphics, Publishing and Textiles.

In addition to this, the University’s Student Ambassadors will provide a campus tour to show the range of fantastic facilities available at Loughborough. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about fees and funding and how to write an effective personal statement.

The event is on 16 March from 9.15am – 3.00pm and is free to attend. Booking is essential. For more information and to book a place, please click here.
