Textiles students’ success at international fashion show

Loughborough University Textiles students have sold their designs to various global companies following success at an international fashion show.

Last month, students currently enrolled on the Textiles: Innovation and Design Course attended Premiere Vision Paris, a biannual global event for fashion professionals.

The event consists of six shows, each representing different sectors of the industry. Loughborough students exhibited their work at Premiere Vision Designs, which brings together specialised international studios to present their latest collections of textile patterns and designs based on current trends and themes.

Students exhibiting represented the three areas of textiles available at Loughborough University, print, weave and multi-media. Work debuted was extremely well received by professionals, resulting in 15 students successfully selling their designs to various international companies.

The standard, and range and variety of the collection produced by our students this year was exceptional and it’s great to see their hard work pay off.
