Students invited to take part in drugs Q&A session

Students are invited to take part in a drugs question and answer session on Monday which is being hosted by the Students’ Union.

The Q & A session will take place over YikYak. Students can post anonymous questions on YikYak using the hashtag #DrugsYak.

A panel will be on hand to answer these questions. The panel will consist of two representatives from Swanswell, the drugs intervention charity, Richard Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at the University and Gemma Lomas, VP for Welfare and Diversity at the Students’ Union.

Questions involving health and legal risks of drugs and their implications are all expected to feature during the session.

The session will run over YikYak on Monday 23 January from 6:30 – 7:30pm. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #DrugsYak.

The session is part of Loughborough Students’ Union’s programme of Welfare and Diversity activities for the 2015/16 academic year. The Welfare and Diversity section of Loughborough Students’ Union support students on all aspects of health and wellbeing and it provides unrepresented students with a voice and support.
