Reminder: Community Donations Fund calls for bids from staff
University staff are being offered the chance to get financial support for community projects they're involved in.
The University’s Community Donations Fund has made £8000 available for its Inside Out Fund this year, with £4000 being allocated for both the Spring and Summer terms.
Bids for the ‘Inside Out’ Fund, can now be submitted and is open to any staff members involved in community ventures outside of work. There is no set criteria for the types of projects that can be submitted, but the maximum bid amount is £500.
Last year the Inside Out Fund supported projects which ranged from purchasing additional gymnastic equipment for disability classes to funding publicity expenses for a local event.
