There’s still time to apply for the Overton Poetry Prize

The deadline for the prestigious Overton Poetry Prize has been extended from Saturday 30 April to Tuesday 31 May.

The prize, held in memory of Professor Bill Overton (1946-2012), is open to sequences of poems of up to 300 lines on any subject. Entry costs £12 per sequence of poems which goes towards funding an early-career Poet in Residence at the University.

The winning collection from last year's prize, Lampshades & Glass Rivers by S.A. Leavesley, was recently published by Lamplight Press.
