Graduate needs your vote to help make product a reality

Product design graduate, Hannah Sage, needs your vote to help take her invention, Milo, into full production.

What is Milo?

Inspired by her personal experiences of having close family serve in the army, Milo is a toy lion which features technology that allows families to stay in touch while overseas.

How Milo works

Before a person leaves the country, he or she hides 24 of Milo’s tokens around the family home. Each week, the family receives a clue on Milo’s screen to help them find one of the tokens. Once it’s been located, they place it in Milo’s base unit to unlock the video. They can then record and send a video message back.

How you can help

To help take her design into production, Hannah has entered the Virgin Media Business VOOM Competition which offers funding, business advice and a chance to pitch to Richard Branson for the winner.

To get past the first round, Hannah needs as much help as possible in the form of public votes. Only the top 80 projects that have the most votes by 23 May will make it through to the next round.

Milo received positive feedback at the New Designers Exhibition in London and was showcased at the Gadget Show Live 2016.
