Staff might be interested in the following updates from the Sustainability team.

Over Easter in 2015, the University as a whole consumed around £24k of electricity over the 5 day break. This year, the amount of electricity used over Easter was reduced by 1.5%, saving of £360 compared to 2015.

The Sustainability Team are continuing to encourage staff to consider the benefits of cycling to work. Cycling helps reduce congestion, improves air quality and helps to improve overall fitness. The University is signed up to the Halfords Cycle2work scheme and all staff can gain access to a brand new bicycle and safety equipment whilst making fantastic savings of up to 42%.
