Whole Earth exhibition to debut at Loughborough University next month

The WHOLE EARTH? exhibition, organised by the Hard Rain Project and National Union of Students, will be exhibited at Shirley Pearce Square next month.

WHOLE EARTH? is based on the idea that today’s young people, students and universities can play a major role in making universities more sustainable.

Students and tutors are invited to articulate the kind of the world they want to live in and share their research and ideas about how to make a safe and secure society.

The exhibition is being launched simultaneously in the UK, Australia and Scandinavia, before being shipped to universities in Bangladesh as part of a wider global roll out.

Venues will be connected via a YouTube channel so that students can communicate across campuses and continents.

The exhibition at Loughborough is being hosted by the Sustainability Team and will help Loughborough students and staff to enhance their creative capabilities, whilst making a significant contribution to the global society.

The exhibition will be open from 5 October at Shirley Pearce Square and championed by the Pro-Vice Chancellors of the University. An official exhibition launch will take place on 7 October at 11am with Vice Chancellor Professor Robert Allison.
