Library open longer from next academic year
The University Library will be extending its opening hours from the beginning of the 2015-16 academic year.
From the end of September 2015:
- During term time the Library will remain open until 2am every day, rather than closing at midnight.
- During the 2016 Easter vacation the Library will remain open until 8pm Monday-Friday.
- The 2016 new year 24-7 opening period will now begin on the first Monday of term (4th January), rather than starting mid week as previously.
The Library has been working closely with the Students’ Union, particularly Amy Ward (LSU VP Education), on these latest developments, and has been guided by the comments and opinions that students have made via the Library surveys and feedback forms.
