Sustainable Building Design Conference

The Royal Academy of Engineering Centres of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design are holding a conference on 13 November.

The event, entitled ‘New professionals for the built environment: addressing the gap in sustainable design skill’, will highlight the shortage of built environment professionals with sustainable design skills and debate how to increase the number of them.

Representatives from organisations across different sectors of the architectural and engineering professions will be at the event, including outreach bodies, universities, professional institutions and industry.

Attendees will highlight the issue, create positive connections between organisations and explore through debate how the built environment can work together to address this skills shortage and ensure the future sustainability of the world.

The conference is being organised by Sheffield University, with representatives from the University assisting from a Loughborough prospective.

The Royal Academy of Engineering will host the event in London. For more information and for a full itinerary, click here
