International tennis returns to Loughborough University

Women’s tennis returns to Loughborough University this November with a host of international players converging on the campus.

The Aegon GB Pro-Series Loughborough is an ITF Pro Circuit women’s $15k event, with the venue having previously seen a number of high profile players in action since the inaugural event in 2010.

The event also provides an opportunity to see the recently refurbished tennis centre on based on the University campus.

Richard Joyner, Aegon GB Pro-Series Loughborough Tournament Director, said:

“This is my sixth year in Loughborough, and this year will be particularly exciting with the recently opened new facilities at the indoor tennis centre.

“These new facilities will certainly enhance the player, and spectator experience, and it promises to be a great week’s tennis, which is all free of charge to watch.“

Qualifying is on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 November, with main draw from Tuesday 3 to Saturday 7 November.

For the women’s singles final starting at 1.00pm on Saturday 7 November there will be courtside seating, with the Leicestershire Junior Awards taking place ahead of the final.

Entry for spectators is free of charge throughout the week, but if you require tickets for the final please contact Neil Phillips.
