Postgraduate Energy Research Conference

The annual Midlands Energy Consortium, Postgraduate Research Conference is due to take place at the University on 17 December 2015.

Current Masters and PhD students from the Universities of Loughborough, Birmingham, Nottingham and Warwick will deliver fascinating, energy-focussed presentations to their peers and, compete for prizes for their research.

The event will include key insights and opinions on the outcomes of the COP21 Paris climate change negotiations from Professor Jim Skea, RCUK Energy Strategy Fellow and leading energy research expert.

Maters and PhD students are also being encouraged to present their own research posters at the conference. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both the poster and oral presentation category.

Topics can be from a range of areas but research must be focussed on (or have applications to) energy. Contact Omar Saeed  with a half-page abstract as soon as possible if you are interested in taking part.
