Join us at the Loughborough Liberation Carnival today!

Staff and students are invited to spend the day celebrating Loughborough’s diversity.

The Liberation Carnival, taking place on the Union lawn, has been organised to celebrate the diversity of Loughborough and showcase Welfare & Diversity in a fresh, fun and enjoyable way.

The event is from 11am - 3pm and will be followed by the Holi Festival which will finish at 6pm.

There will be a number of activities organised by Union associations including performances, an exhibition, food and music as well as key attractions such as a Loughborough Pride March and a Holi Festival.

The Pride March will start at 12.30 from Pilkington Library and will go to the Student's Union.

The aim of the day is to allow for open and inclusive participation which highlights the work that the Welfare & Diversity section have achieved throughout the year.
