Announcement of Dean
At a meeting of council on 27 March 2015, the appointment of Dean for the Design School, School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences and School of Civil and Building Engineering were confirmed.
The Deans are responsible for the management and strategic direction of their school.
Appointments are as follows
- Professor Tracy Bhamra - Dean of the Design School until 31 July 2020
Tracy joined the University in 2003 and was initially appointed Dean in April 2012.
- Professor Mark Lewis - Dean of the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences until 31 July 2020
Mark joined Loughborough as a Visiting Professor in 2010 -2011 and was appointed Professor in 2012. He originally became Dean in August 2012.
- Professor Tony Thorpe - Dean of the School of Civil and Building Engineering until 31 July 2018
Tony joined Loughborough as a lecturer in 1984 and was initially appointed Dean in August 2011.
