Governors have a very important voluntary role in education, helping schools provide the best possible education for their students.

On Friday 20 March, Secretary of State for Education and Loughborough’s MP, Nicky Morgan will join the Vice Chancellor, Professor Robert Allison to launch the University’s School Governor Network.

If you are interested in helping the community, driving school improvement and learning new skills that can help advance your career, why not come along?

Join our lunchtime session 12-1.00pm in LDS.0.17, Loughborough Design School.  It is an opportunity to find out:

  • What school governors do an the decisions they make
  • The personal development opportunities and free training available
  • The opportunities available locally
  • How the University will support you in the role
