Pop-up – and turn your business dream into reality

Flash retailing can really help to get your brand noticed, and the Students’ Union Enterprise team is offering enterprising students the chance to do just that.

The first enterprise to take advantage of the pop-up offer was brand new business, Only Worn.

Company founder – arts undergraduate Zofia Chmiel – is a self-confessed thrift collector who enjoys travelling the country to track down “cheap, chic and unique” items for her style-conscious but frugal clientele.

Zofia said: “The pop-up provided me with the chance to set up shop in the Union’s piazza and certainly attracted plenty of attention. It helped me spread the word about Only Worn – and I made some good sales too.

“I’d really recommend the LSU pop-up as a useful way to test your brand with the student market – or do some charity fundraising. The Enterprise Hub will even lend you some money to finance your pop-up, if you need it.”

For more information and a pop-up application form, please contact the Student Enterprise Engagement Manager, Emma Bishop, or call in at the Students’ Union’s Enterprise Hub.
