#IAMIN campaign wins national award

A Loughborough University and Students’ Union campaign to reach potential students during clearing has won a Guardian Higher Education Award.

The innovative #IAMIN campaign used social media and PR tools to engage with students, harnessing their enthusiasm and excitement on results day to create online buzz and generate recommendations for Loughborough during clearing.

Last night (Wednesday 18 March) #IAMIN won the 2015 Guardian Higher Education Award for best Marketing and Comms Campaign.  The awards showcase best practice, achievement and innovation across a range of categories, offering universities a seal of approval for their most outstanding work.

Speaking about the award Emma Leech, Loughborough’s Director of Marketing and Advancement, said: “I am delighted we have won this award.  I want to say a massive thank you to all the students and staff that supported us - we won it together, the Loughborough way!”
