Don’t miss out on the fun at Loughborough’s community day

Be sure to unleash your inner budding scientist at Loughborough University’s Community Fun Day on Saturday 21 March.

Running from 1pm-5pm at the Stewart Mason and James France Buildings on campus, the free event is packed full of fun events, activities and demonstrations for all the family and is being held as part of British Science Week. Discover everything you need to know about the engineering of cars, the science of walking on custard, building a human body, robots and more. Entry is via the Epinal Way entrance.

And for those with a more adventurous side, the Loughborough Molecule Hunt will take place in the town centre, with 10 stores hiding a molecule linked to reactions that occur in the human body during exercise. Participants are required to find each of the different molecules and complete a Discovery Sheet for a chance to win science prizes and a science workshop for their school.
