Police research showcased at University event

A new research group that will work in partnership with the region’s police forces, helping to inform the way they work, is launched at the University this month.

The Policing Research Group (PRG) brings together Loughborough experts from a wide range of fields, including social sciences, geography, design, business and the arts.

A special launch event, opened by Chief Constable of Leicestershire Police Simon Cole, is being held at the University on Wednesday 17 June from 10am-3pm.

Policing in Partnership: Working With Vulnerable Citizens and Communities will showcase the innovative research already underway at the University between academics, the police, and practitioners in policing, social care and community safety.

Anyone interested in attending can find out more via the University events pages.
