June Sustainability Newsletter available to view now

Staff might be interested by the following updates from the Sustainability team.

Travel Survey

Following the recent travel survey, staff are invited to attend a follow up session on Thursday 18 June between 12.30pm – 1.30pm.

The data provided will be used by a team of interdisciplinary researchers at CREST who are working with the University of East Anglia to try and model commuting practices.

A free lunch will be provided and you will not be required to bring anything with you.

Waste Management

How can you help to change the picture of waste management?

Reducing waste and the amount sent to landfill has the potential to significantly decrease potent greenhouse gas. Although the University segregates food waste in its catering operation areas, we do not currently offer this in academic areas.

Help by taking your left over lunch home and dispose of it in compost, green cone or Bokashi.
