Loughborough Design School set to host its annual Design Jam event
The Design School is hosting the third Lufbra Service Design Jam at the end of the month, 27 February - 1 March 2015.
Part of the Global Service Jam – spanning more than 100 countries – the event brings together teams comprising members of the public, the local business community, staff and students to learn and apply the practices of service and user-centred design to solve design problems.
In a spirit of experimentation, innovation, co-operation and friendly competition, teams will have less than 48 hours to develop and prototype completely new services inspired by a shared theme. At the end of the weekend, the collection of brand new services will be shared worldwide.
Participation in the event is free – including refreshments, a great line up of guest speakers and all the necessary resources and materials to complete the challenge.
