Light in the Landscape exhibition
A new exhibition of paintings by Rod Shaw, a member of staff at the University, is now open at Loughborough Town Hall.
Rod, who works at WEDC in the School of Civil and Building Engineering, is showcasing ‘Light in the Landscape’ at the Sock Gallery throughout December and January.
Whilst touring Britain and Ireland for many years, Rod has found endless possibilities for painting. In “Light in the Landscape”, Rod depicts local scenes as well as those from elsewhere and explores the way in which landscape is transformed by fleeting effects and light and weather, using a variety of formats and considered compositions.
The exhibition is running from 10 December to 23 January 2015 at The Sock Gallery, Loughborough Town Hall and is free to attend.
