Print managers give Loughborough the thumbs up

At the end of August, the University hosted a contingent from the Association of Print Managers in Education (APME), who attended a two-day short course on entrepreneurial management and business planning, run by the School of Business and Economics.

Alison Freer, Loughborough’s Head of Design and Print Services, was instrumental in bringing the APME members to the University.

“I suggested to the APME committee that the course would be a good idea and I was really pleased when they agreed!” said Alison.

“We had colleagues from over 15 institutions here and the feedback on the quality of course and the accommodation has been amazing.

“It was a great opportunity to show off the campus, and it brought more than £10,000 of income into the University through course fees and accommodation at Burleigh Court.”
