Staff and campus partner memberships available for Holywell Fitness Centre

Loughborough University staff and campus partners can now purchase memberships for the brand new Holywell Fitness Centre.

Since opening for business at the start of term over 3,000 students have joined and been inducted into new centre.

With plenty of capacity in the new centre remaining, staff and campus partners are now being given the opportunity to join.

Members benefit from full access to the Holywell Fitness Centre gym, the 50m swimming pool during casual access times, over 80 fitness classes each week and more for just £33 per month.

University staff can also opt to pay by salary sacrifice, saving approximately 30%.

In the centre’s attractive upper floor gym there are over 75 state of the art items of cardio-vascular equipment and 50 plus fixed and free weight stations, alongside a core stretch area.

On the ground floor there are two fitness studios where a range of classes are on offer.

Holywell Fitness Centre, a £5.6 million investment situated at the West end of campus, provides a warm, friendly and welcoming environment to encourage students, staff and partners to be more physically active.

The centre not only increases provision, it also provides a distinct and unique facility to encourage participation and complements existing centres on campus, such as the Powerbase gym, that is aimed at elite and performance sport athletes.

Further information about membership for Holywell Fitness Centre can be found on the Loughborough Sport website.
