Community Donations Fund programme for 2014/15
The University has announced arrangements for the Community Donations Fund for the 2014/15 academic year.
Established in 2009, the Community Donations Fund provides financial support to community groups and organisations across Charnwood as part of the University’s support for the local area.
To date the University has made 226 donations worth over £160,000. A wide range of projects and activities have received support, including sports clubs, music organisations, residents’ associations, groups for women and those with special needs.
This year the University has £45,000 on offer which will be donated through five separate rounds of funding, including the Inside Out Fund, which is specifically aimed at members of staff who are involved in volunteering in the community.
